Listening to:  Joe Ely and a bad cover of Joe.

Today, we have two realaudio entries.  The first would be from Mr. Tom Hanna, whose pronunciation of "stagnant water," in all seriousness, is an excellent pronunciation.  Click here to hear Tom Hanna's comment.

Later, I describe my visit with a band (the Suburbillies, from Oklahoma City) who, it turned out, just happened to know a Joe Ely cover.  I recorded the cover (Gallo del Cielo, actually a cover Joe has done of Tom Russell) on my voice recorder, so the quality is bad.  But it's kinda cool.   Click here to listen to my description of all of this.
