REFLECTIONS OF AN OBJECTIVIST MUSE

Moving

Tonight I helped Maxwell move.  Her couch is a friggin' heavy piece o' furniture!  But the moving was not so bad.  I told her that as far as helping other people move, I'm game, but I HATE moving my own stuff.  Indeed, I think I will probably use movers next time I have to pack up everything and move.  Blar!

We had a nice time afterwards -- pizza and beer and more beer, my reward for my labor!  It was a fun evening, and Maxwell and I chatted about lots of things.  She's a sweetie -- and understands my strange brand of humor in the office (which most people misunderstand, because most people are idiots).  I think it will be nice having her in Montrose now.  And as heavy as the television was, I think I'm entitled to watch a few Cowboys games at her place!  :)

On a more sobering note, the fine evening was followed by a conversation at home that I don't even really comprehend -- not because of the beer and pizza or the fact it took place at 2 am, but simply because I don't understand.  Maybe I can get to the bottom of it Friday.  I hope so.  Never mind that I'm committed to a million things.  I guess I'll just have to get out of them.
